It was right before Thanksgiving, and we were all working at the gallery to prep for the opening. Then, of course, we got super hungry and came in for lunch. Anna recommended Weekends to us, which was right around the corner from the gallery, saying this was the best sandwich/burrito shop in Williamsburg.
It was kind of hard to find this place at first because we were looking for a place called Summers, not knowing that Weekends actually used to be Summers. Not entirely sure how long ago, but they must have recently changed their name.
The interior design of the shop was amazingly cute, and I thought it went really really well with the small size of the shop. And as soon as I walked in, the first thing I noticed was how GOOOOD the food smelled (like, you don’t understand. It was really, REALLY good). It smelled like butter and eggs (two of my favorite things in the world) and everything else on earth that’s good.
We ordered two burritos to share, and let me tell you – they were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.
